  2. History To DO REVISION list DAILY or after each lesson REVISION STARTS ON DAY 1! Have your necessary materials all the time. You don't want to be unprepared WEEKLY REVISION IS NEVER DONE THE NIGHT BEFORE . IT IS ONGOING Make notes during class SPIDER DIAGRAM OF WEEKS WORK AS A SUMMARY Before a test or exam, you are just revising, not studying BECAUSE YOU HAVE DONE THE WORK THROUGH THE TERM Read through each chart once a week! Spend a few minutes reading notes THAT night for homework Make 5 questions to keep for revision tasks Write down questions to check for understanding Answer the last weeks 5 questions Revision is NOT STARING AT YOUR NOTES! Check for assignments due and put dates on your calendar chart On your pin board, tick off sections of work as you have finished revision – that always feels great! Highlight things that you think might be important Have a pen or Pencil in Your hand And draw diagrams Read a book – any book. This will help you to improve your vocabulary and spelling AT THE END OF EACH SECTION MAKE A REVISION CHART. LIST ALL THE KEY WORDS

The teacher cannot guess at what you mean. ESSAYS CHECK MADE UP OF PARAGRAPHS IN ORDER SPELLING AND GRAMMAR Remember, that there is seldom only one cause. Look at evidence. Decide on what you believe - show why you believe it 5% OF MARKS come from spelling, grammar and punctuation. DOUBLE CHECK
