Our Mission in Tijuana, Mexico.Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere. • Iglesia Presbiteriana El Refugio exists to ignite a Kairos movement, enabling us to fill the cities of Chula Vista, CA and Tijuana, Mexico with the Gospel of Jesus Christ • We want to ensure that the people of these cities are changed in every dimension – Spiritually, socially, and culturally • The church needs to intentionally reach, train, and deploy men and women who will be equipped to deal with the changing ‘face of missions’ in our own backyard

Domestic Mission in Tijuana, Mexico. • The next two years (2008 – 2010) • Establish Mission trips with youth groups in Tijuana, Mexico • Evangelistic Events every two months • Mercy Ministry In The Border (Principal component. Galatians 2:10) • Mission trips to Tijuana’s orphanage every week (Iglesia Presbiteriana El Refugio)

Ramon Robles, Church Planter Stage Two – (2011) Theological & Evangelistic Training Center The church needs to intentionally reach, train and deploy men and women. Stage Three – (2012) Iglesia Presbiteriana El Refugio Build a Spiritual Bridge in the border (24hrs.), through Evangelist Events & Mercy Ministry Component Chula Vista, California & Tijuana, Mexico Stage Four – (2013) Mercy Ministry Center In The Border Tijuana, Mexico. Hope For Tijuana (Gather people who are willing to partner up and volunteer with our mercy ministry) Hispanic Global Vision in Tijuana, Mexico

  6. Four Ways of Incarnation in the Border • First way of incarnation • Studying English with Hispanic students in Southwestern College • Playing soccer at the park every Sunday afternoon • Reaching to our neighbors, Tijuana, Mexico. • Mission trips to Tijuana, Mexico, every week.

Iglesia Presbiteriana El Refugio • The Hispanic vision in the border • 5-year desired scenario • Purpose: To transform the Tijuana region through Gospel & Evangelistic Events, as well as Mercy Ministries • What is the Tijuana region? All of Tijuana – Current population of approximately 2,500,000 • 20-Year Desired Scenario (DS): 10% of Tijuana region are in gospel-driven churches (250,000 people)

Basic Strategy To Reach Desired ScenarioTijuana, Mexico • Tight alliance of Hispanic churches in the Border • 30 congregations • 75 sites • Each with grace renewal dynamics • Alliance of like-minded churches • 50 church sites • Tijuana region • Gospel and city positive • Prayer, conferences, training, evangelist events • Regional resources • Assessing, training, funding, coaching • Hope for Tijuana (Reach people that will volunteer in Mercy Ministries • Theological/ Evangelistic Training Center

  12. Hispanic Vision needs: • We need to raise $650,000 for a Sixth-year budget to get this project established. Our goal is to have 40% of this money pledged by the time we ignite this project. • Our goal is for the Iglesia Presbiteriana El Refugio in the Border to be completely self-supported at the end of our Sixth year • We welcome regular giving that is spread out over Sixth years, or over shorter periods, as you feel led. One time gifts will be helpful to cover startup expenses.
