The Charpak Scholarship Program The French government scholarship programme in India is called “Charpak” and provides funding to the students for Master’s degrees, research internships and exchange semesters. It allows them to study at different levels at undergraduate, postgraduate or doctorate in public and private institutions in France. Charpak Master: This programme is offered to Indian students admitted in a master programme in France. The scholarship is renewable once, upon request and examination of the results obtained, for master 1 students admitted to master 2. Charpak Research Internship: The scholarship programme is open to graduate and post graduate students enrolled in an Indian institution and wish to attend a training course at a French laboratory or university during their academic break. The awardee is provided with a monthly stipend, along with a return ticket to France, an overseas medical insurance coverage, assistance to ?nd accommodation and student visa fee waiver. The Embassy of France in India and The Neemrana Music Foundation co-?nanced Scholarship The Neemrana Music Foundation in New Delhi and The French Embassy in India jointly offer two scholarships in the ?eld of Western Classical Music for singers and musicians. The scholarships are offered for 1 year and the selected candidates are trained in prestigious French music schools or conservatories. The Eiffel Scholarship The programme is established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and is designed for international students pursuing study programmes in four major ?elds: Law studies, Economics and management, Engineering sciences and Political sciences. Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) scholarship Offered by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), it supports international students who wish to pursue a master degree program at a French institution in earth systems, climate change and sustainability, the energy transition, and societal challenges of environmental issues. The awardees will receive a monthly stipend of €1,190; roundtrip airfare and medical insurance. THE ERASMUS PLUS MOBILITY SCHOLARSHIPS Students from around the world can apply for a full degree scholarship. It can also involve scholars and guest lecturers. Franco Indian Education trust The Franco – Indian Education Trust is a non-pro?t charitable and educational trust. It is a joint initiative of the Embassy of France in India and the Krishnakriti Foundation. The scholarship covers tuition fees up to 10000 euros or living expenses up to 7500 euros, visa, and campus fee waivers. It is designed for students who wish to pursue culinary studies in France. To qualify for the scholarship award, the citizen must be a resident of India and at least 18 years at the time of applying.
