Sightsavers- NGO to help blind people

Sightsavers has been working in India since 1966 and this foundation is trying continuously to put an end on blindness. We have helped thousands of people with free medical treatment and gives them a chance to lead a normal life, and our work put us in the top 10 NGO in India. We are working with various famous Ngo in India to eradicate blindness, social discrimination and lack of equality. Our work with our local partners helped us in the treatment of millions of people with eye disorder and blindness in the rural part of India.

  4. Where we work Since 1966 Sightsavers India has worked across the country to protect sight and fight for disability rights. The Learning States are Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Urban Eye Health Programme and RAAHI- National Truckers’ Eye health Programme of Sightsavers are carried out in the given states. Our Work

Sightsavers board is responsible for maintaining a high standard of governance, overseeing everything we do and making sure the organisation stays on track, spends money wisely and achieves its goals. Sir John Wilson founded the British Empire Society for the Blind, as Sightsavers was originally known, in January 1950. Governance
