Year 2- State of progress WP 1.4 (10/2007) • ZARAGOZA • List of Year-2 main achievement(s) : • Efficiency and economic aspects on electrical installations of buildings in Concerto Community (URBIC) • Consolidation of review of background information on ESCos, in Europe and Spain, esp. concerning successful experiences and their possible local replication (ECODES) • Any delay, compare to what have been foreseen? • URBIC needs more time to complete efficiency/economic analysis of electrical/thermal installations in residential buildings.

Next 18 months (25-42) WP 1.4 (10/2007) • ZARAGOZA • List of main activities that are foreseen to be done during month 25-42 • Completion of electrical installations efficiency study • Integration of thermal & electrical analysis (results of year1 + year2) • Formulation of an ESCo in Zaragoza to invest in high efficient installations for new residential buildings, specially biomass CHP with district heating & cooling

  9. Next 18 months (25-42) WP 1.4 (10/2007) • ZARAGOZA year 3 OUR OBJECTIVE: TO MAKE VIABLE INVESTMENTS ON EFFICIENCY & RENEWABLE ENERGY WITH AN ESCo.

Next 18 months (25-42) WP 1.4 (10/2007) • ZARAGOZA • List of main activities that are foreseen to be done during month 25-42 • Study of legal regulation of neighbourhood communities • Study of the more appropiate buy-sell contract in the case of shared ownership installations (such as a community boiler co-owned by the neighbours and an ESCo) • Study of the perception of buildings administrators towards the ESCo approach • Global CO2 balance calculation • Development of a marketing strategy to influence on consumers perception of ESCos.
