An Introduction • The University of the South Pacific (USP): • Was founded in 1968 • Has 14 campuses in 12 countries including: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Tokelau, and Vanuatu. • The main campus and Headquarters is located in Suva, Fiji • Is the premier Institution for Higher learning in the South Pacific region

  3. Faculties • The University has 3 major faculties: • Faculty of Arts, Law and Education, • Faculty of Business and Economics; and the • Faculty of Science, Technology and Environment.

  4. Programmes and courses • The University offers programmes at the Foundation, Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and PhD levels. • Programmes and courses are accredited by the University, while some are internationally accredited and recognized, for example the MBA Programme, Tourism Programme, etc. • A list of all programmes and courses are available on www.international.usp.ac.fj • Most popular programmes and courses include: Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, Geography, Marine Science, Tourism and Hospitality, Geography, Education, Business and History.

Support services • The University’s support services include: • Campus Life – Health and Wellness, Security, Accommodation, Security, Catering • International Office – specialized support for International Students and visiting staff under EACEA Projects and Exchange Partners • Student Administrative Services • Student Learning Support • Information Technology Support • Library
