  2. His Young Life Christopher George Lator Wallace “Biggie”, Was born in New York in 1972. His dad left the family when Christopher was 2. Her mom had to work 2 jobs so she and Christopher can have home. At the age of 10 he got his name “Biggie,” because he was really big for his size. At age 12 he weighed more then 130 pounds. Still at age 12 he sold drugs in the streets. Her mom never knew he sold drugs until he was an adult. While in his teen years, he sang and rapped with his friends in the streets to entertain and as pass time. It was his hobby.

  3. Hard Life, Bad Choices • At age 17 he dropped out of high school, and continued his criminal life. He got arrested for weapon charges and was sentenced to 5 year probation. 2 years later he got arrested for violating his probation. 1 year later he got bailed. One year later he got arrested in North Carolina for selling cocaine. He sais the criminal life was the only exciting thing he had in his life.

  4. Changing His Life After realizing his mistakes and errors in prison, he gets bailed again. When he got out of jail he maid his first mix tape called “Biggie Smalls” referring to his child-hood nicknames. A DJ, DJ Noodles, heard the mix tape and Christopher got his first contract. He was a big success.

  5. The Rivalry When Christopher became famous on the East-Coast, he atomically got involved with the West-Coast East-Coast hip hop rivalry with his former associate Tupac Shakur. Tupac claimed that Christopher and his record company knew information about the robbery that resulted in him being shot repeatedly and losing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry that took place in Los Angles. But Christopher and his group where actually in New York in there studios. Since then, Tupac and Christopher, longtime friends, where enemies.

  6. Living The Life In the 1990’s Christopher was a really big hit. He was at the peak of being a national icon. In August 1995, he was named Best New Artist , Lyricist of the Year, Live Performer of the Year, and his Album of the Year. At the Billboard Awards, he was Rap Artist of the Year.

  7. The Death Of 2 Icons • In 1996 Tupac was in front of a hotel in Nevada when he was a fatale victim of a drive-by. Immediately people suspected Christopher to be involved. But Christopher sais he had nothing to do with it, and that he was in his studio when it happened. The next year, Christopher was coming back from a party, sponsored by popular magazine companies. He was retuning to his hotel in his SUV with his friends and bodyguards, when a blue SS impala rolled up next to them at a red light, rolled down his window and a man in blue pulled out a blue tinted 9mm pistol and shot at the SUV multiple times. Christopher was shot 4 times in the chest. 1 hour later he died.
