  1. 5-Hour Class in Mount Kisco, NY Class Location: Methodist Church 1176 East Main St. Shrub Oak (Yorktown), NY 10588 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Class (MV-278) This course is required by NY State prior to scheduling a road test appointment. What to bring: New York Learners Permit $65.00 *New DMV Rule – Only the Permit Card with the picture can be accepted at 5-hour class. Please wait for permit card to come in the mail before taking the class* Two ways to register: Register online below Call 914-949-0419 When you arrive for your road test, you must bring the Pre-licensing Course Completion Certificate (MV-278) and your learner permit. If you have a junior learner permit (age 16 or 17) you must also bring a completed Certification of 50 Hours of Supervised Driving (MV-262) http://www.dmv.ny.gov/forms/mv262.pdf signed by a parent or guardian. This does not apply to applicants 17 years old who have completed a Certified Driver Education Course and present a valid Student Certificate of Completion (MV-285) at the road test.
