  2. What is M.P.A. ? First it is a Business • It Generates Revenue • Concessions • Fundraising • It Incurs Expenses • Program Support ( 6 Programs between East and West) • Operating Expenses • Concessions • insurances • It Has a Board • All Volunteers • Non profit 501(c) 3

M.P.A Provides what DASD doesn’t • Financial support to each program • Tuxes, Gowns, Cummerbunds • Instruments • Equipment • Supplemental staffing (Instructors) • Senior Awards • Choir Uniform – Cleaning • Trip Funding for the financially in need • Pays for Master classes

  4. How does it generate Revenue? • Concession stands – Largest • 2011/12 (Held over from 2010/11) • Mini Events • Annual Events • Band Competition (Fall) • Golf (Spring) • Small additions • Not Student fundraisers • Separate entity
