  7. Controlled Assessment‘Internal assessment under controlled conditions’

  8. Direct supervision of the teacher • Silent - formal conditions • Absences from school – MUST do catch up • Complete work independently • Work collected in at end of each lesson • Varies between subjects • Bibliography needed

Plagiarism • No pupil must pass work off from another author as their own • Copying from other texts, internet, another pupil • Exam boards have sophisticated electronic systems to detect copying from text and other pupils • Two pupils with similar work – full investigation • All acts of plagiarism we must inform exam board • In breach of examination board conditions results in no grade in all subjects

  11. Importance of the planner • Please look out for H L and P as this is telling you deadlines are being missed and your child is not prepared or lacks focus.
