The Underground Railroad The Civil Rights Movement Earth Science Weekly Message Dear Parents, We had a great start to the new semester! The students came back rested and eager to learn. This 9 weeks our focus will be on slavery, the Underground Railroad, Harriet Tubman, and the Civil Rights Movement. I am excited about this unit and the culminating project, and I expect the students will learn a lot as we explore those topics. Again, we are in desperate need of supplies. We are down to our last few pencils and boxes of Kleenex. I would appreciate any donations. Thanks for all you do! Mrs. Vaughn
