PROPOSAL FOR DESIGN PRIORITIES Note : Design = 3D models + 2D drawings (layout & manufacturing). • Priority 1 : design related to Half-Sector Test (HST) • P1.1 : BSW chambers (BSW1 included) + tooling. • INCONEL parts. • Solution for welding (including interface with BI.STR). • Racetrack bellows (bellow + collar). • Bellow compression tool. • Integration of BSW4 H0/H- dump + instrumentation. • Integration of BSW4 cooling. • P1.2 : Pumping ports. • P1.3 : BSW 2-3-4 magnet sub-assemblies (magnet, yellow support, chamber, shielding, RF contact,…). • Priority 2 : BHZ INCONEL chambers (2 types) • Priority 3 : BSW1 • P3.1 : Electrical connection. • P3.2 : BSW1 magnet sub-assembly. • Priority 4 : BLMs • Priority 5 : Main support structure • Priority 6 : Upstream and downstream vacuum modules • Priority 7 : Detailed H- Injection layout (2D assembly drawings) Important : this program depends on inputs coming from workpackages which are not part of EN-MME workpackage (BSW magnets, BI.STR unit, transport,…). CDD CONTROL 2 (mechanical functional check) : done by EN-MME under equipment owner delegation. APPROVAL PROCESS (project level functional check) APPROVAL LEADER : Wim Weterings. EDMS DRAWING FOLDERS FOR APPROVAL : provided by EN-MME.
