  2. Let’s Play a game called“That’s Me”Stand up if the next slide is true for you and yell out: “That’s Me!”

  3. I went to the state fair this summer.

  4. I read a whole book this summer.

  5. I went to Adventureland this summer.

  6. I skateboarded, rollerbladed or rode my bike this summer.

  7. I went out of state this summer.

  8. I went swimming this summer.

  9. I mowed the lawn this summer.

  10. I went fishing this summer.

  11. I woke up BEFORE 8 AM this summer.

  12. I played softball or baseball this summer.

  13. I am excited to be starting Middle School !!!!!

  14. School Hours • You need to wait in the cafeteria until 7:30. • Breakfast is from 7:15 – 7:40 • At 7:30 you may go to your lockers and then 1st period. • There is a warning bell at 7:40 • Classes start at 7:45

  15. After School • End of day bell rings at 2:30 • Students not picked up by 2:45 need to report to Mr. Wintermote’s room (1018)

  16. Transportation • Parents can drop you off on the North or South sides of the building. • All students enter through the main doors or by the cafeteria. • Please use sidewalks only.

  17. Dress Expectations • No headgear in the building • No midriff tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, or undergarments showing • No saggy pants, they must be around waist • No pajama pants/lounge pants • Roller shoes are not allowed. • No chains • No advertising of things that are illegal for students to purchase • Nothing that offends other people

  18. General Rules • String backpacks are allowed in classes. • Pop and food are not allowed in classes or hallways. • Food purchased outside of building must be eaten before entering the building • Leave toys and valuables at home. • Skateboards need to be kept in locker.

  20. Passing Times • You have 4 minutes to get to class, use restroom, talk to friends, and get supplies! • Walk on the right side • Talk quietly as other classes may still be meeting while you are passing. OUTSIDE • Stay on sidewalks • Respect neighbors’ property

  21. Schedules • Lunch will be from 10:28 – 10:58 • A / B days (Healthy choices, Fine Arts, Technology, Spanish, Orchestra) • FCS, Tech. Ed, Computers (12 wks.) • Downstairs rooms are numbered in the 1000’s; upstairs 2000’s

  23. Lockers • Do not give out your combination! • Write combo down in planner in secret spot. • No speed locks • Keep your same locker partner all year. • Right – Left – Right Short video • Pick your partner • Let’s Practice!
