  1. Phytosanitary Certificate Attestation Phytosanitary certification is employed to attest that consignments meet phytosanitary import requirements and is undertaken by an NPPO. A Phytosanitary certificate for export or for the Re-export will be issued only by a public officer who is technically qualified and duly authorized by an NPPO. A phytosanitary certificate for the export is typically issued by the NPPO of the country where the plants,plant products, or regulated articles were grown or processed . Phytosanitary Certificate are issued to point that consignments of plants , plant products or other regulated articles meet specified phytosanitary import requirements and are in conformity with certifying statement of the acceptable model certificate . Phyto sanitary certificates should only be issued for this purpose. Phytosanitary Certificate Attestation is a crucial document to export the regulated articles like plants , bulks, and tubers. For importing seeds for propagation , fruits and vegetables, cut flowers and branches , grain , and growing medium .

MODE OF ISSUE The phytosanitary certificate is a creative document , or under specific circumstances could be a certified copy issued by the NPPO, that accompanies the consignment and is presented to the relevant officials upon arrival within the importing country. Alternatively, the electronic certification could also be used only if: * The mode of issue and security is suitable by the importing countries. * The information provided is in step with the suitable model. * The intent of certification under the IPPC is realized. * The identity of the issuing authority is adequately established . Attachments Official attachments phytosanitary certificate should be limited to those instances where the information requires to the certificate exceeds the available data on the certificate. Any attachments having phytosanitary information should bear the phytosanitary certificate number ,and should be dated ,signed and stamped the same as the phytosanitary certificate .
