  1. Basics For Healthy Eating! Healthy eating is something everyone should follow. There are many key elements of a healthy diet the topmost of which is the calorie content. A calorie is a unit of energy and calorie count creates a major difference in your weight management journey. If one eats or drinks more than the required amount of energy the person needs, it will lead to weight gain. Our body stores the energy not used as fats, therefore excess calories might lead to fat gain. Many lifestyle specialists in India, healthcare program consultant in India and all over the world suggest appropriate consumption of calories to avoid unhealthy weight gain. You can Google "best dietitian in India online" and you will come across our website where you go through all the helpful content as well as contact us for better help. Lifestyle specialists in India or anywhere in the world suggest eating healthy foods and a balanced diet to make sure that your body is receiving all the needed nutrients. Tips to healthy eating You can find many tips online by Googling "tips from best dietitian in India online" or can consult a healthcare program consultant in India and you will find similar tips like the ones that are mentioned below. 1.Carbohydrates consumed by you should be just over a third of the food you consume. Carbohydrates rich foods include potatoes, bread, rice, pasta etc. Choosing higher fibre or wholegrain is considered healthier. Food items like whole

  2. wheat pasta etc have more fibre and they will make you feel full for longer durations of time. To make your diet healthier it is recommended that one should add at least one starchy food item with the main meal. 2. Eating a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables every day is very healthy. The fruits and vegetables can be fresh, frozen, canned etc. You can chop bananas with your morning cereals, have fruits as mid-morning snacks etc. Combining them into your diet will be good for your health. If you're taking these in juice form, it is advised that you shouldn't have more than one glass a day, especially for fruits as too much sweet can damage your teeth. 3. Fat is an important constituent of a healthy diet but the amount and type of fat being consumed should be monitored. There are 2 main types of fat: saturated and unsaturated. Consuming too much saturated fat can increase cholesterol levels in your body, ultimately increasing the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.

  3. 4. Try to cut down on sugary foods and drinks from your diet. Avoiding them completely might not seem realistic, as once a while cheat days and treating yourself with junk food seems fine. But these foods and drinks are high in calories and excess consumption of these might lead to unhealthy weight gain. They can also cause tooth decay, especially if they're being eaten between meals. Now, you shouldn't misunderstand these unhealthy sugary foods with the sugar that is found in milk and fruits. What needs to be cut down or lessened from your diet is added sugars and not the ones that are naturally found in a food item. 5. Eating too much salt can also be harmful to your health. It can increase your blood pressure and increase the chances of developing heart diseases or having a stroke. It's not just about the added salt that we put in our food, it's already there in the processed and packed food that we all consume regularly like cereals, soups, pieces of bread etc. 6. It's not just about eating healthy, but one should also make exercise a regular part of their daily routine. There are many benefits of exercising that most of us are aware of so why skip? Along with a balanced and healthy diet, exercise regularly to put into uses all the calories that you have consumed.
