  2. Time line for experiment • Preparation of experiment: 1-7 days • Preparation of CD-rack: 0.5 day • Put the CD-rack in water: 0.5 day • Allow 4-6 weeks for growth on plates • Microscopy: 0.5 day • Final report 1-7 days Data may be added at http://www.miljolare.no/virtue/in/

  3. How to set up a rack • Use a nylon rope of a diameter of > 7mm • Add a plastic pipe. 15 – 20 cm spacer • Add two CD’s • Repeat until 2-5 layers are complete • Put a weight to straighten rope • Mark the CD’s!

  7. Interesting? • Do you want to try this? • Time in the water • When? (approximate 6 weeks?) • Where? Describe the place gladly with pictures • Take pictures of the result and analyse it • Is it possible to get the CD in your country?
