Model: Retelling with Th0ught Prompts • This memoir is about a girl named Sam who struggled with a learning disability, but seemed to overcome her issues. She recalls times in her life when she felt confident, and times when she felt insecure. This demonstrates that Sam is able to think deeply about her past, and realize how her past has shaped her future. One thing I notice is that Sam once felt proud of being smart, but her disability holds her back in life.
