  2. Purpose • The purpose of this presentation is to advise people the correct knowledge of emergency procedures at Central TAFE. It is for the staff and students to know what has to be done in a emergency, where is the exits are at the campus and show of maps of the exits, the use of safety equipment , what are the current evacuation plans, why we need incident reports/ injury reports and what kind of emergencies that appear mainly within this workplace. . The Target audience is aimed to the staff and students that are at Central TAFE. • The method used is informing.Emergencies are never planned. For Central TAFE, because it is large building. Fake alarms and drills are a great way to help the staff and student be prepared for when a real emergency occurs. It gives everyone the idea of what is needed to be done, what alarms are used when a emergency happens and where to meet up and know the correct exits within the campus.

  3. What emergencies can appear at Central? • Floods • Storms • Fires • Toxic gas releases • Chemical spills • Explosions • Civil disturbances • Workplace violence resulting in bodily harm and trauma.

  4. The do’s and don'ts. • While instructing people through the emergency procedures, it is great for both staff and students to know the do’s and don’t for the different emergencies that occur. When evacuating for a fire there is restrictions of the lifts….

  5. Evacuation procedures. • High rised building changes evacuations procedures • The different sirens to different emergencies evacuation alarm (whoop, whoop) • Maps of exits
