Neutron-Antineutron Oscillation Search in Super-Kamiokande: Analysis and Findings

This study investigates neutron-antineutron oscillation (n-n̅) using data from the Super-Kamiokande (SK-I) experiment. We outline our motivation for exploring this phenomenon, detail our analysis methods, and discuss simulations of n-n̅ transitions. We highlight the reconstruction results and the optimization of selection criteria that lead to detection efficiency improvements. Furthermore, we present simple lifetime limit calculations and a thorough consideration of systematic errors and background effects. We conclude with the implications of our findings in experimental observations.
