IHSA (Illinois High School Association) Standard • The student-athlete must: • Pass four or more academic subjects the previous semester • Be passing four or more academic subjects on a weekly basis **This does not include physical education or driver education subjects. ** The IHSA policy applies to all high school students

  3. District 211 Standard • Eligibility Checkpoints: 1st quarter, 3rd quarter, 1st semester, 2nd semester

  4. District 211 Standard Continued • For sophomores, juniors, & seniors: • “F” at 1st/3rd quarter = probation • “F” at 1st/2nd semester = ineligible • Under 2.0 GPA at quarter or semester = probation • Under 2.0 GPA for two consecutive eligibility periods = ineligible **No F’s in physical education or driver education **Physical education or driver education are not included in the 2.0 GPA

District 211 Standard Continued • For Freshmen: • “F” at 1st/3rd quarter = probation • “F” at 1st/2nd semester = probation • Under 2.0 GPA at quarter or semester = probation • Under 2.0 GPA for two consecutive eligibility periods = probation **No F’s in physical education or driver education **Physical education or driver education are not included in the 2.0 GPA
