INTRODUCTION • At least one variable is transversal and other variable is longitudinal. • In this case. we have to take into account homoscedasticity and sphericity.
EXAMPLE We would like to study how different kinds of words (b1=names; b2=adjectives; b3=verbs) are memorized in two different groups of participants (a1=8-year-old children; a2=10-year-old children. Main-effect hypotheses: • Is there relationship between the kinds of words and the memorization? • Is there relationship between the age and the memorization? Interaction-effect hypothesis: 3. Are there differences in memorization of different kinds of words depending on the age of the participants?
