  3. Workgroup Activities • SAV Wetlands Restoring 30,000, enhancing 150,000, and protecting 225,000 acres of wetlands in the watershed by 2025. MD pilot project using NEIEN to streamline data collection Working towards 185,000 acre bay-wide abundance goal by planting SAV where possible and supporting work that improves water clarity. STAC review of SAV restoration Adaptive management planning using ChesapeakeStat

  4. Workgroup Activities • Fish Passage Stream Health Improving metrics for floodplain connectivity restoration, and restoring habitat for brook trout. Further defining workgroup objectives and science needs in upcoming STAR Streams Topical Meeting. Restoring historical fish migratory routes by opening 1,000 additional stream miles for -river herring -American shad -hickory shad -brook trout and/or -American eel. Chesapeake Bay Fish Passage Prioritization Framework.
