Aerospace Complaints received against CB’s 3 complaints have been received in regards to the Aerospace programs. • 2 of the 3 are closed with correction. • Complainant was concerned that the CB suspended for AS9100 was advertising AS9100 on their web site. (this is allowed) • AS9100 CB has entered into a contractual relationship with an AS client to manage certain aspects of the client’s supplier mgmt activity. (CB was notifying suppliers to provide certification evidence to client) • 1 of the 3 is currently open, under investigation • An AS9100 organization may have been re-certified without a re-certification audit.

  10. ANAB QMS IAF Peer Evaluation • ANAB was audited by IAF on 14-17 January 2002 • This information was presented, in detail, to the RMC in January 2003 • IAF planning the next peer evaluation in May 2006

ANAB QMS Internal Audit • ANAB conducted our 2005 internal audit on 28-29 June 2005 • The audit was conducted by two ANAB Accreditation Auditors; Dan Pearl and Phil Klukas (AIEA) • The scope of the audit included; accreditation criteria (e.g. ISO Guide 61), ISO 9001, ANAB’s QMS and EMS base programs as well as all industry specific programs. • AS9100, AS9003, AS9120, QS-9000, QS-9000 TE Supplement, TL 9000, ISO 13485, RC 14001, RCMS • There were no nonconformities generated against ANAB • 31 gaps identified against ISO 9001

  12. ANAB External ISO 9001 Audit • Conducted on 31 August – 01 September, 2005 • Team selected by ANAB’s Board • Bayer (Janet Book) and Boeing (Jeff Wood) conducted the audit • 4 NCR’s issued • NCR’s were addressed and closed

  13. AAQG Oversight Audit of ANAB • ANAB was audited by AAQG on 7-9 November 2005 • The audit was conducted by Boeing & Lockheed • There were 4 NCR’s generated   • NCR’s are being addressed and hopefully closed end of January.

  14. 2005 ANAB Audit Activity • ANAB has 36 accredited CBs. • AS Office Audits • 34 conducted for 32 CBs • 2 CB’s office audits were before their AS9100 accreditation • 2 CB’s were bought by other CB’s • 2 CBs had follow-up audits • AS Witness Audits • 37 conducted for 34 CBs • 3 CBs had re-audits • 1 CB received AS9100 accrd end of the year • 1 CB was bought by another CB

OEM Participation Reasons for nonparticipation • OEM Auditor no showed • Availability of OEM auditors • OEM had an FAA audit taking place at same time. • Not allowed to enter facility due to late paperwork submission (by the CB) • OEM Machinists strike • Office Audit already conducted before CB’s accreditation
