  2. The Boston Massacre

  3. Treaty Of Paris • The treaty of Paris was signed on 1783. • They were a big part in some parts of the war. • Without the French we might not have won the war.

  4. British Taxes • The Tea tax, the Stamp Act, the Sugar Act and materials were all taxed on. • The tea tax caused the Boston Tea Party were they broke open the tea crates and threw it off the ship. then the British said, “you have to buy all the tea”.

  5. The Battle of Lexington • Lexington was the first battle. • The person who fired the first shot that started the war is unknown. • The reason that the regulars went to Lexington was to take ammo so we would be powerless.

  6. Concord • The regulars took over an American bridge which was the north bridge. • Captain Davis was the first shot in the Battle of Concord and died right on the spot. • The rebels were out numbered by 170 British soldiers.

  7. Bunker Hill • It was the bloodiest battle in the Revolutionary War. • 8 Minutemen were killed. • We had to retreat because of low ammunition.

  8. Saratoga • General Sir William Howe attacked the New York area and won the attack. • The British planned to invade New York and capture it. • The invasion had some success and captured Fort Ticonderoga.

  9. The Hessians • The Hessians were Germans hired by King George the 3rd to fight the patriots. • King George promised them a lot of money. But he did not give the money to the Hessians. He kept it.

  10. George Washington as a Soldier • He fought at the at French and Indian War. • Unlike other Generals, he slept with the Patriots and he fought with them every step of the way.
