  2. DEFINITION OF e-SAFETY e- safety is about measures and best practices for Netizens to guard their personal safety and the security of their networks.

  3. WHAT IS CYBER BULLY?? • Cyberbullying - use of the Internet and related technologies to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner. • Occurs among young people • When an adult is involved, it may meet the definition of cyber-harassmentor cyber-stalking

A child may be a cyberbullying others if she/he… • Quickly switches screens/ closes programs when you walk by • Uses the computer at all hours of the night • Gets unusually upset if they cannot use the computer • Laughs excessively when using the computer • Avoids discussion about what they are doing on the computer • Uses multiple online accounts/using an account that is not their own

A child may be a victim of cyber bullying if he/she… • Unexpectedly stops using computer • Appears nervous/jumpy when an instant message, text message or email appears • Appears uneasy about going to school/outside in general • Appears to be angry, depressed/ frustrated after using computer • Avoid discussions about what they are doing on computer • Becomes abnormally withdrawn from usual friends and family members
