  2. What is a g lacier? Glaciers are made up of fallen snow over many years it compresses into large thick masses.

  3. How do they form? Glaciers begin to form snow remains in the same area year round.

  4. The two types of glaciers and the likes and differences? Valley glaciers and Continental glaciers. They are both compacted by snow and ice. Valley glaciers form on mountains. Continental glaciers are formed on flat surface.

  5. How do glaciers move? They move by force of gravity pulling it down hill and spreading out.

  6. Processes of of glaciers Abrasion and plucking Abrasion-is when rock remains on the bottom of the glaciers and it drags them across the land. Plucking-is a glacier that flows over the land over land and it picks up rocks in a process.

  7. How does glacial deposition occur? It occurs on the inner curve when the water speed is slower.

  8. Glacier landforms Horn ,Drum line ,Kettle lake ,U-shaped Valley. Horn-When glaciers carve away the sides of a mountain. Drum line-A drum line is a long mound of till that is smoothed in the direction of glaciers flow. Kettle lake-A kettle lake forms when a depression left in till by melting ice fills with water. U-shaped valley- A flowing glacier scoops out a U-shaped valley.
