Students will focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and also on study skills for success in a Canadian post-secondary institution. Students will be considered successful in the program when they have achieved a 6.5 IELTS Band Score. CERTIFICATES, DIPLOMAS & POST GRADUATE CERTIFICATES Parkland College offers a number of skills training programs taught by qualified instructors in areas of business, education, health, technology and trades. Parkland College works closely with employers to design programs that meet industry needs. Programs Include: ŸBusiness Certificate ŸContinuing Care Assistant ŸEntrepreneurship & Small Business Certificate ŸHeavy Equipment Truck Transport Technician Certificate ŸBusiness Diploma ŸHotel & Restaurant Management Diploma ŸAgriculture Business Diploma ŸHuman Resource Management Post Graduate Certificate The majority of the programs start in September; some start in January too. Tuition Fee: $ 13,000 to $ 14,750 per year (Please refer to our website for exact fee structure) The tuition fee includes the cost of the text books. Application Process 1. Application – International Students must complete and submit the following: • International student application. • Internationalstudent application and courier fee. • Official secondary and post-secondary transcripts. • Proof of English language prociency. Acceptance – If accepted student will be issued a formal letterof acceptance. Study Permit –International Students apply for a Canadian StudyPermit from www.cic.gc.ca.This process can take up tothree months. 4. Tuition Deposit –students are requiredtoconfirmtheir acceptance at Parkland College with tuition fee deposits as mentioned in the Letter of Offer. 2.
