The latest Labor Market Survey & Analysis Report is available on our website www.pvtc.gop.pk • Industrial Garments Stitching training is being offered in these projects on the basis of this Analysis • Pakistan’s economy can be characterized as semi-industrialized. The country’s industrial sector constitutes 24.3% of the country’s gross domestic product. The largest industries of the country pertain to textile. Therefore the IGS training has been selected for these projects

  10. Training, New Curricula/ Courses and Modules, ToT • Course Title : Industrial Garments Stitching • Developed by : Curriculum Department PVTC / and the Industry • Duration : 06 Months • Batch : 02 • Classes : 04 • PVTC has its own Staff & Teachers Training Institute where each staff member gets 10 days annual training covering both pedagogy & skills training aspects • We also offer these training facilities to our Partner organizations

So far, there were no such formal training & rehabilitation programs available for these most deprived & neglected segments of society especially the Transgender • Christians are the largest minority in Pakistan but regrettably no such industry based vocational training program is available for them except this project from which they can benefit at a large scale • These projects will also be trend setters

  12. 13. Access to Micro Financing We have arranged Micro Financing for our graduates from 02 organizations • Govt. of Punjab through Akhuwat (A well known Micro Finance institution providing interest free loans for a last decade) • Jazba , (A well known NGO working in the fields of rehabilitation and disaster management for last 08 years)
