  2. Step 1 • First fill mold with sand. • Scoop out a flat area. • Press down objects and remove to imprint or leave in to embed.

  3. Step 2 • Fill the mold with plaster of Paris. Use enough to cover the sand completely.

  4. Step 3 • Let sand casts dry overnight.

  5. Step 4 • Over a drop cloth, turn fossils upside down to remove excess sand. • Use a paintbrush to brush away remaining sand.

  6. Finished Projects
