  17. Now you can write the problem. • Tell what kind of animals you are looking at. • Tell how many totalanimals. (Don’t split them apart or you will give the answer.) • Tell total number of legs. • Ask how many of one type of animal. This is a question so it should end in a question mark.

  18. What to turn in. • You will turn in 3 note cards. • The first on will have your problem written in cursive on it. (skip lines) • The second will have the answer to your problem. • The third will have a color picture of your two animals. (Not all of them, just one of each.) • Put your name on all three cards.
