  2. PSIC Grant Update • Performance period ended June 30th • September 30th deadline for all reimbursements • NEPA compliance completed for San Juan and UCAN’s Iron County project • Current balance: $657,503 2

  3. IECGP Grant Update • 2009 Grant • Performance period ended May 31st 2012 • August 31st deadline for all reimbursements • Current balance: $94,698 • 2010 Grant • Performance period ends May 31st 2013 • I have contacted several of the grantees • Current balance: $222,651 3

  4. Wyoming Interoperability • Met last month with representatives from Utah and Wyoming • Discussed current interstate interoperability status • Created a plan to achieve interoperability at a very minimal cost • Will be working to complete and test the solution by the end of the year 4

  5. SCIP Update • OEC is redoing their SCIP template • Streamlined and flexible • Pertinent information only • Adding NG9-1-1 • The new SCIP will be more public safety communications focused not just interoperability • New template scheduled to be released by the end of the year 5

  6. NPSBN Update • Important dates • August 20, 2012 – FirstNet board will be appointed • August 22, 2012 – State implementation grant guidance will be released 6

  7. Broadband Subcommittee • First meeting last week • Updated members of the current status of the NPSBN • Kevin Rose selected as chairman • Expanded membership • Brian Low (Logan City) • Corky Brewer (Moab City) • Paul Gustin (DTS Radio) • Wireless carrier representation • Creating a Q&A section on the SIEC website • Next meeting will be August 30th 7
