  4. 1% of schools in India’s most populated state, Uttar Pradesh, have access to free textbooks FACTS

  6. The average family of 4 in India lives in a 1 room house The average American family of 4 lives in a 2000 sq. ft. home

  7. Only 18% of homes in India have indoor plumbing (bathroom/shower!) The average American home has 2 baths

  9. The Learning to HopeProject was created for children whose parents cannot afford to give them an education through public schooling. ($10 a month) Without an education, many of these children will be sold as slaves as early as 8 years old.
