  2. Background • J Max bond Jr. was born in 1935. • Starting off J max bond had a tough time overcoming racial barriers. He attended Harvard university were he earned a bachelors degree and a masters degree in his pursuit of an architecture career.

  3. Great architecture • J Bond has been apart of some of the greatest building projects that have made American history. Such projects are • Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in Alabama • Martin Luther King Jr. crypt and memorial in Atlanta, Georgia

  4. 9/11 Memorial • J Max Bond jr. was selected due to his overwhelming creativity and creations based on architecture. One project that made the selection even more great was the Bolgatanga regional library in Ghana. The library provided a unique roof top that provided natural ventilation

  5. The museum encompasses the whole area were the trade center used to be and is situated underground

  6. The death of A great African American architect • Sadly on February 18 2009 J Max Bond Jr passed away due to cancer. J max bond jr recalled in an interview that his professor from Harvard university had tried to persuaded him to quit due to the overwhelming racism in those days. He said that had he have given up it would have been a loss on his part.
