  1. واذكر في الكتاب موسى إنه كان مخلصا وكان رسولاً نبياً مريم 51 Musa (Moses) Peace be upon him موسى عليه السلام

  2. الأعراف Musa peace be upon him The Oppression and Persecution The chiefs of Fir'awn's (Pharaoh) people said: "Will you leave Musa (Moses) and his people to spread mischief in the land, and to abandon you and your gods?" He (Fir'awn) said: "We will kill their sons, and let live their women, and we have indeed irresistible power over them."Musa (Moses) said to his people: "Seek help in Allah and be patient. Verily, the earth is Allah's. He gives it as a heritage to whom He wills of His slaves; and the (blessed) end is for the pious."

  3. الأعراف Musa peace be upon him The Endurance and Patience They said: "We (Children of Israel) had suffered troubles before you came to us, and since you have come to us." He said: "It may be that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors on the earth, so that He may see how you act?"

  4. Musa peace be upon him Caller’s to Allah’s ways of Facing Tyranny • Adherence to the Message and Facts • Display of Proofs and Signs of God • Patience

  5. يونس Musa peace be upon him The Reliance on Allah And Musa (Moses) said: "O my people! If you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Him if you are Muslims (those who submit to Allah's Will)."They said: "In Allah we put our trust. Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the folk who are wrong-doers."And save us by Your Mercy from the disbelieving folk."

  6. Musa peace be upon him Caller’s to Allah’s ways of Facing Tyranny • Adherence to the Message and Facts • Display of Proofs and Signs of God • Patience • Trust and Allah and Reliance upon Him

  7. يونس Musa peace be upon him The Power of Prayers And We revealed to Musa (Moses) and his brother (saying): "Provide dwellings for your people in Egypt, and make your dwellings as places for your worship, and perform As-Salat and give glad tidings to the believers."

  8. Musa peace be upon him Caller’s to Allah’s ways of Facing Tyranny • Adherence to the Message and Facts • Display of Proofs and Signs of God • Patience • Trust and Allah and Reliance upon Him • Salat and Remembrance of Allah

  9. الزخرف Musa peace be upon him The Rhetoric of Fir'awn And Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) proclaimed among his people (saying): "O my people! Is not mine the dominion of Egypt, and these rivers flowing underneath me. See you not then?"Am I not better than this one [Musa (Moses)] who is despicable and can scarcely express himself clearly?"Why then are not golden bracelets bestowed on him, or angels sent along with him?"Thus he [Fir‘aun (Pharaoh)] befooled (and misled) his people, and they obeyed him. Verily, they were ever a people who were rebellious, disobedient to Allah.

  10. Musa peace be upon him Pharaoh’s Tactics and Ways of Rejecting the Truth • Rhetoric of Tyranny: • I am more powerful, I must be right! • I am richer, I must be right! • I have better propaganda, you must believe me!

  11. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Plot to Kill Musa Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "Leave me to kill Musa (Moses), and let him call his Lord (to stop me from killing him)! I fear that he may change your religion, or that he may cause mischief corruption) to appear in the land!"Musa (Moses) said: "Verily I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant who believes not in the Day of Reckoning!"

  12. Musa peace be upon him Pharaoh’s Tactics and Ways of Rejecting the Truth • Rhetoric of Tyranny: • I am more powerful, I must be right! • I am richer, I must be right! • I have better propaganda, you must believe me! • Violence and Murder • Hiding behind a false veil of “Righteousness”

  13. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Believer of Fir’awn’s Family And a believing man of Fir'awn's (Pharaoh) family, who hid his faith said: "Would you kill a man because he says: My Lord is Allah, and he has come to you with clear signs (proofs) from your Lord? And if he is a liar, upon him will be (the sin of) his lie; but if he is telling the truth, then some of that (calamity) wherewith he threatens you will befall on you." Verily, Allah guides not one who is a oppressor, (transgressor), a liar!"O my people! Yours is the kingdom today, you being dominant in the land. But who will save us from the Torment of Allah, should it befall us?" Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "I show you only that which I see (correct), and I guide you only to the path of right policy!”

  14. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Believer of Fir’awn’s Family And he who believed said: "O my people! Verily, I fear for you a fate like that day (of disaster) of the Confederates (of old)!"Like the fate of the people of Nooh (Noah), and ‘Âd, and Thamud and those who came after them. And Allah wills no injustice for (His) slaves."And, O my people! Verily, I fear for you the Day when there will be mutual calling (between the people of Hell and of Paradise)."A Day when you will turn your backs and flee having no protector from Allah. And whomsoever Allah sends astray, for him there is no guide.

  15. Musa peace be upon him Caller’s to Allah’s ways of Facing Tyranny • Adherence to the Message and Facts • Display of Proofs and Signs of God • Patience • Trust and Allah and Reliance upon Him • Salat and Remembrance of Allah • Logical and Common Sense Arguments • Reminding of Allah’s way and the end of others who reject the truth.

  16. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Believer of Fir’awn’s Family And indeed Yusuf (Joseph) did come to you, in times gone by, with clear signs, but you ceased not to doubt in that which he did bring to you: till when he died you said: "No Messenger will Allah send after him." Thus Allah leaves astray him who is an oppressor, (transgressor in sin) and who doubts (Allah's Warning and His Oneness). Those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, signs, revelations) of Allah, without any authority that has come to them, it is greatly hateful and disgusting to Allah and to those who believe. Thus does Allah seal up the heart of every arrogant, tyrant. (So they cannot guide themselves to the Right Path).

  17. القصص Musa peace be upon him The Rhetoric of Fir'awn Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "O chiefs! I know not that you have a godother than me. So kindle for me (a fire), O Haman, to bake (bricks out of) clay, and set up for me a lofty tower in order that I may look at (or look for) the God of Musa (Moses); and verily, I think that he [Musa (Moses)] is one of the liars."And he and his soldiers (helpers) were arrogant in the land, without right, and they thought that they would never return to Us.

  18. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Rhetoric of Fir'awn And Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "O Haman! Build me a tower that I may arrive at the ways -"The ways of the heavens, and I may look upon the God of Musa (Moses): But verily, I think him to be a liar." Thus it was made fair-seeming, in Fir'awn's (Pharaoh) eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the (Right) Path; and the plot of Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) led to nothing but loss and destruction (for him and his followers). And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right path

  19. Musa peace be upon him Pharaoh’s Tactics and Ways of Rejecting the Truth • Rhetoric of Tyranny: • I am more powerful, I must be right! • I am richer, I must be right! • I have better propaganda, you must believe me! • Violence and Murder • Hiding behind a false veil of “Righteousness” • Ridiculous arguments relying on the blindness and misguidance of the followers.

  20. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Believer of Fir’awn’s Family And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right path."O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.""Whosoever does an evil deed, will not be requited except the like thereof; and whosoever does a righteous deed, whether male or female and is a true believer (in the Oneness of Allah), such will enter Paradise, where they will be provided therein (with all things in abundance) without limit.

  21. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Believer of Fir’awn’s Family "And O my people! How is it that I call you to salvation while you call me to the Fire!"You invite me to disbelieve in Allah, and to join partners in worship with Him of which I have no knowledge; and I invite you to the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving!"No doubt you call me to (worship) one who cannot grant (me) my request (or respond to my invocation) in this world or in the Hereafter. And our return will be to Allah, and the transgressors (of Allah's set limits): they shall be the dwellers of the Fire!

  22. • Reminders of The Hereafter and the inevitable end.

  23. غافر Musa peace be upon him The Believer of Fir’awn’s Family "And you will remember what I am telling you, and my affair I leave it to Allah. Verily, Allah is the All-Seer of (His) slaves."So Allah saved him from the evils that they plotted (against him), while an evil torment encompassed Fir'awn's (Pharaoh) people. The Fire, they are exposed to it, morning and afternoon. And on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels): "Cause Fir'awn's (Pharaoh) people to enter the most severe torment!"

  24. النمل Musa peace be upon him The Signs "And throw down your stick!" But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight, and did not look back. (It was said:) "O Musa (Moses)! Fear not: verily the Messengers fear not in front of Me."Except him who has done wrong and afterwards has changed evil for good; then surely, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) and his people. Verily they are a people who are disobedient (to Allah).

  25. الأعراف Musa peace be upon him And indeed We punished the people of Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) with years of drought and shortness of fruits (crops), that they might remember (take heed). But whenever good came to them, they said: "Ours is this." And if evil afflicted them, they ascribed it to evil omens connected with Musa and those with him. Be informed! Verily, their evil omens are with Allah but most of them know not. They said [to Musa]: "Whatever Ayat (proofs) you may bring to us, to work therewith your sorcery on us, we shall never believe in you." So We sent on them: the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood (as a succession of) manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were sinners.

  26. الإسراء Musa peace be upon him And indeed We gave Musa (Moses) nine clear signs. Ask then the Children of Israel, when he came to them, then Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said to him: "O Musa (Moses)! I think you are indeed bewitched." [Musa (Moses)] said: "Verily, you know that these signs have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as clear evidence (i.e. proofs of Allah's Oneness and His Omnipotence.). And I think you are, indeed, O Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) doomed to destruction!"

  27. الأعراف Musa peace be upon him And when the punishment fell on them they said: "O Musa (Moses)! Invoke your Lord for us because of His Promise to you. If you remove the punishment from us, we indeed shall believe in you, and we shall let the Children of Israel go with you."But when We removed the punishment from them to a fixed term, which they had to reach, behold! they broke their word!

  28. الزخرف Musa peace be upon him But when he came to them with Our Ayat (proofs, signs) behold, they laughed at them. And not an Ayah (sign, etc.) We showed them but it was greater than its fellow , and We seized them with torment, in order that they might turn [from their polytheism to Allah's religion].And they said [to Musa]: "O you sorcerer! Invoke your Lord for us according to what He has covenanted with you. Verily, We shall guide ourselves (aright)."But when We removed the torment from them, behold, they broke their covenant (that they will believe if We remove the torment from them).

  30. الإسراء Musa peace be upon him And nothing stops Us from sending the Ayat (proofs, evidence, signs) but that the people of old denied them. And We sent the she-camel to Thamud as a clear sign, but they did her wrong. And We sent not the signs except to warn, and to make them afraid (of destruction).

  31. القمر Musa peace be upon him And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic."

  32. الإسراء Musa peace be upon him And they say: "We shall not believe in you (O Muhammad), until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us;"Or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly;"Or you cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces, as you have pretended, or you bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face;"Or you have a house of ornamentation (like silver and pure gold), or you ascend up into the sky, and even then we will put no faith in your ascension until you bring down for us a Book that we would read." Say (O Muhammad): "Glorified (and Exalted) be my Lord (Allah)! Am I anything but a man, sent as a Messenger?"

  33. يونس Musa peace be upon him The Du’a of Musa And Musa (Moses) said: "Our Lord! You have indeed bestowed on Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the life of this world, our Lord! that they may lead men astray from Your Path. Our Lord! Destroy their wealth, and harden their hearts, so that they will not believe until they see the painful torment." Allah said: "Verily, the invocation of you both is accepted. So you both keep to the Straight Way and follow not the path of those who know not."

  34. الشعراء Musa peace be upon him The Exodus And We revealed to Musa (Moses), saying: "Depart by night with My slaves, verily you will be pursued."Then Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities.(Saying): "Verily these indeed are but a small band."And verily, they have done what has enraged us."But we are a host all assembled, amply fore-warned."So, We expelled them from gardens and springs,Treasures, and every kind of honorable place. Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh’s people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them

  35. الشعراء Musa peace be upon him So they pursued them at sunrise. And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken."(Musa) said: "Nay, verily with me is my Lord. He will guide me."Then We revealed to Musa (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like huge mountain. Then We brought near the others [Fir'awn's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. Then We drowned the others.Verily in this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. And verily your Lord, He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

  36. يونس Musa peace be upon him And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) with his hostsfollowed them in oppression and enmity, till when drowning overtook him, he said: "I believe that none has the right to be worshipped but He (Allah) in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims." Now (you believe) while you refused to believe before and you were one of the corrupters. So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, signs).

  37. غافر Musa peace be upon him So when they saw Our punishment, they said: "We believe in Allah Alone and reject (all) that we used to associate with Him as (His) partners. Then their Faith could not avail them when they saw Our punishment. (Like) this has been the way of Allah in dealing with His slaves. And there the disbelievers lost utterly (when Our Torment covered them).
