  1. Status of NCEP / CPC forecast hosting: • Incoming FTP site directory officially setup through NCEP Central Operations (NCO)  24/7 monitored and maintained • Initial file format for model data forecasts • --Three files for each forecast system, each day • --Filename convention: • 20080402_BOMC_OLRA • 20080402_BOMC_U850 • 20080402_BOMC_U200 • --All forecast members and initial conditions in each of the three variable files • --Totals • CPTEC (Brazil) added to list of participating centers

  2. Centers have been able to access and place data at the FTP site • Participating centers status: All centers are currently in the data formatting stage (ECMWF, BMRC, PSD well along in this area) • Received WH2004 code from Matt and have applied the recipe to NCEP GFS • Applied ensemble plotting approach of Nick (slight modification) • Website under development for display of phase diagrams, methodology description, verification, multi-method ensemble, etc. UNDER CONSTRUCTION: http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/precip/CWlink/MJO/clivar_wh.shtml
