  1. Track Meet Entry Program Instructions Compatible with Hy-Tek Meet Manager Pro

  2. Login Page • www.lewistonsports.com/track • Select your Team. • Enter Password. • Click Login.

  3. Entry Page Header • Select Meet • Click the Done button when all entries for your team are complete. • Click the Event button at any time to view your entries by event • Click the Roster button at any time to view your roster by name. • Click the All button to view entries for every team for this meet.

  4. Selecting Meet • Check to make sure you have the correct meet before starting entries. • Use this link to go back to Login page if you don't have the correct team. • This section will contain any messages from the meet director regarding the meet. • You are now ready to begin entering the entries.

  5. Entry Page • Enter the Athletes First & Last Names and Grade. • Select the Event from the list. • Field Events - Enter Feet - Inches as 15' 4 1/2" equals 15-4.5 and for No Distance entries enter ND. • Running Events - Enter times as 5:30.8, and for No Time entries enter NT. • Relays - Enter times or NT in only the races that you are entering a team. • If the meet allows multiple relay teams in an event select Team. • Click the Add button when an athlete or relay is complete.

  6. Update or Delete Entries • This is the area where you can update or remove athletes or relays. • The first line will contain information similar to this if you have declared your entries Done, to undeclare click Delete. • Edit information then click the Update button, edit only ONE line at a time. • Athletes are listed once for each event you entered then in. • You must use the correct Event abbreviation, if you are not sure Delete the entry and re-enter it as a new entry.

  7. Entries by Event View • Notice how undeclared entries display. • List Athletes alphabetical within each event.

  8. Roster View • Notice how the display looks when entries are Declared complete. • Click this link Return to the Entry page. • Athletes and Relays are listed alphabetical order.

  9. All Entries Page View • Lists all entries by event in the order of the Time or Distance entered. • Lists all the Girls entries followed by the Boys entries in each event.

  10. Teams with Declared Entries • This page is only available to the Meet Director. A link to this page will be sent to the Meet Director. • Lists Meet name. • Lists Teams that have Declared their entries complete.

  11. Text File • This page is only available to the Meet Director. A link to this page will be sent to the Meet Director. • The information on this page is in the format required by Hy-tek Meet Manager Pro. • Meet Director will need to save this to their computer as a Text file to be imported into the Meet Manager program. • Instructions for saving and importing are on the following screens.

  12. Saving Text File in Firefox • These are the instructions for Firefox. • Select File from the Menu Bar of your browser. • Click Save Page As... • This screen will appear. • Enter a name for the file. • Select Text Files in the Save as type. • Click the Save button.

  13. Saving Text File in IE 7 • These are the instructions for Internet Explorer 7. • Select File from the Menu Bar of your browser. • Click Save As... • This screen appears. • Enter a name for the file. • Select Text Files in the Save as type. • Click the Save button.

  14. Hy-Tek Instructions • This is in Hy-Tek • Select File from the Menu Bar. • Click on Import. • Click on the Semi-Colon Delimited Rosters/Entries. • Select the Text File saved in previous page. • Click the Open

  15. Import File Progress • This page shows the progress of the import. • Number of teams found. • Number of different Athletes. • Number of entries. • Number of Relays. • Exceptions, should be 0, if it is not view the Exception Report. • A. Most of the errors will be out of limit Time or Distances, and can be fixed by editing the Athletes entry. • B. If you have an event that looks like it has every entry error out check the settings on the Event. • C. If there are a variety or errors for a team you can log in as that team and correct the errors, and re-export the data from the database and the import it again after purging the current entries.

  16. Clearing Data • If you need to Re-Import the data into Hy-Tek . • You must Purge the old Data. • Click File from the Menu Bar. • Click on Purge. • Click on the Remove Data Selectively.

  17. Remove Data • Click ONLY these boxes. • Teams • Athletes • Entries / Results • Relays • Then Click OK on the next several screens.
