This study conducted by Ken Holsinger from BLM's Uncompahgre Field Office assesses the impact of seeding rates on plant cover post wildfires. Results from the Mellen Fire and Beaver Fire show increased plant cover with different seeding rates for species like UP POSE and POFE, impacting the overall plant cover in the area in both 2011 and 2012. Additional plot frequencies for different species like Grammor are also analyzed. The study aims to provide insights into effective post-fire rehabilitation strategies using native plant materials.
