About ICRARD • The International Committee on Regulatory Research and Development - ICRARD • ICRARD is organized under the primary sponsorship of the • United States' Minerals Management Service (MMS) • Great Britain's Health and Safety Executive (HSE) • Canada's National Energy Board (NEB) • Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) • Main goal is to coordinate research activities, exchange information and promote research cooperation between the member organizations

  3. … but information is difficult • Annually ICRARD meetings, • Minutes of meeting, • A few e-mails … • …and then … • Growing requirement: An ICRARD web site • Goal: Share information - connect people • The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway* has funded the costs related to developing the web site * (Former: The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate - NPD) • The PSA Norway is funding the two first years of management

The future … • October: Officially launched at this IRF meeting! • Press release sent from the MMS, HSE, C-NOPB and PSA • November: Workshops - sharing info on operating the ICRARD web site – incl. MMS, HSE, C-NOPB and PSA • Thereafter: • Continual publishing of updated info on relevant research/development projects in the member countries (One can subscribe to news) • Offensive marketing • International forums (IRF, NSOAF, relevant conferenses) • National forums (Relevant milieus/organisations – industry – research – authorities etc.) • Involving other ICRARD member countries
