School Level Expenditure Reports Requirement The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 requires all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) receiving ARRA Title I, Part A funds to submit a school-by-school listing of per pupil educational expenses from state and local sources during the 2008-2009 school year. 2

  3. Eligible Agencies Who has to do this? Every district that received ARRA Title I, Part A funds during the 2008-09 school year. 3

  4. School Level Expenditure Reports Why? USED will use these data to examine the extent to which school-level education resources are distributed equitably within and across LEAs. 4

  14. Updating Expenditure Data in FID FID users can update expenditure file locally and upload new file. http://www.michigan.gov/FID Select District Upload option from the Data Collection menu. Review District File Status screen to check file status and possible errors. File must be returned to Submitted status. 14

  17. Reviewing FID Data Building Level Expenditure Report Detailed description of totals in MEGS at fund, function and object level. Located in Reporting menu. Enter search criteria for line item in MEGS. Function 11x = 111 through 119 Object 12xx = 1200 through 1299 17
