Allergy and Intolerances Project

The 2013 HL7 Allergy and Intolerances Project meeting in Atlanta will focus on reviewing the agenda and discussing project updates. Agenda • Review agenda for meeting and add other issues as needed • Status of the Allergy and Intolerances Project • Publication of the Domain Analysis Model • Upcoming ballot cycle timeline • Project Scope Statement for Clinical Models • Seeking co-sponsorship from Pharmacy, OO, EHR, DSS and Structured Docs • Using previous RIM mapping • Implementation partners – need to finalize • FHIR Resources - outstanding issues from QA • Confirm ongoing meeting day and time for conference calls • Plan the agenda for the next conference call

  3. Timelines • May 19 – new PSS deadline • July 7 – NIB due • July 14 – Initial content • July 28 – All content due • August 4 – Final content due • August 12-September 16 – Balloting • September WG meeting – Sept. 22-27

  4. Status of Allergy Project • DAM balloted January 2013 and in May 2013 • Ballot reconciliation complete for May 2013 • PSS for DSTU drafted and approved by PC on Tuesday, Q2 • Netherlands has agreed to serve as implementer – need one more • Seeking co-sponsorship from Pharmacy, OO, EHR, DSS (vMR) and Structured Docs

  5. Terminology • PSS for Clinical Models – universal domain • Best approach for terminology?

  6. Preferences • Use case moved to Diet Order DAM • Clinical Models for food and drugs – new PSS proposed for Patient Care

  7. FHIR Allergy and Intolerance • Any further issues • Need to complete outstanding QA issues on next call
