Activities started during the quarter but will be finished afterwards • Physical Establishment of SAC including hardware and software – Computer Center (subcontracting) • Survey of assessment methods – Vice deans of faculties, Dr. Elnashar (undergraduate) and Dr. Ahmed Salama (Postgraduate) • Study professional societies codes – Dr. x?

Activities started during this quarter ahead of the schedule Selection of academic programs for field implementation Criteria of selection • The academic program must be fully operational and have graduates. • The academic program must have a good number of staff members compared to the number of students.

  12. Activities started during this quarter ahead of the schedule Criteria of selection - continued • The academic program has a high ratio of student appeals. This may be an indicator of the existence of assessment problem . • These academic programs must have academic standards in order to set the question banks for the selected courses. • Must be approved by the Faculty council Follow-up Dr. Nashar

This is most probable for "scientific" courses instructed in English. • Have a balanced blend of courses within the selected academic programs. So courses are spread on different years (or levels in case of credit hours system). • Approved by department and Faculty councils. – Faculties, Follow-up Dr. Elnashar
