Peace and Unity!. Ephesians 4:3. Unity from our Peace. Peace with God is what matters first. (Phil 4:7) God’s peace is not like the world’s peace, that’s why it has different results. (John 14:27) Unity isn’t uniformity, it isn’t based in absolute agreement, but shared peace.

  2. Unity from our Peace • Peace with God is what matters first. (Phil 4:7) • God’s peace is not like the world’s peace, that’s why it has different results. (John 14:27) • Unity isn’t uniformity, it isn’t based in absolute agreement, but shared peace.

  3. Steps into unity? • The starting point: Friends not enemies. • What brings us together is bigger than the issues that might separate us. (Rom 8:31) • Unity includes the partnership that Paul is so enthusiastic about. (Phil 1:4-5)

  4. Make every effort... • Unity is not something that comes automatically, it has to be worked at. • What have you done to improve unity where there’s discord? Make a significant choice to fix things. • What about building unity in the body in general?
