National Library of Medicine Lister Hill Auditorium National Institutes of Health Genetics and genomics are increasingly being used as tools for diagnosis, management and treatment of a range of common conditions, necessitating the development of competence in the field of genomics/genetics by healthcare practitioners. This one day course will provide experienced oncology nurses with the foundation for genetics knowledge and application to the oncology clinical setting through interactive learning approaches. Program is offered at no cost. CEU’s are provided. Application has been made for (contact hours to the ONS Approver Unit. ONS is an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing center’s Commission on Accreditation.” Target audience:Nurses with 2 or more years of oncology experience.
