  7. SPA Hot Topics Staff Update Updated account list A-133 Health insurance is part of institutional allowance / training related expenses Warning that fellows may not have funds for supplies Seems to be more of an issue with fellowships (Fs) than training grants (Ts)

  8. SPA Hot Topics OGA expenditure type “GR-Freight & Moving” was disabled on 06/30/10 and should no longer be used.  The appropriate expenditure type to be used is “GR-Shipping Charges” NIH Conference Wrap-up

Effort Update Important Effort Dates: 8/10/2010   Last day to submit LCTA forms for failed LD adjustments that need approval. 8/15/2010   Effort Period Closes-Labor Distribution Module in Oracle is locked down.  Module is expected to reopen on August 23rd. Info8/30/2010   Effort Statements are distributed to the departments through campus mail. 10/19/2010 Deadline for returning Effort Statements to Sponsored Projects Administration office.

  12. RGC Hot Topics No-Cost Extension Form Changes coming 8/1/2010 – will be adding fields to address changes in effort. Outgoing Subaward Process Change – final executed copy to be sent to Department Fiscal Manager. RGC Staff Update – Maria Chitsaz has been hired to fill one vacant GCA position RGC Staff Update –Final stages of hiring for open GCA position.
