Maintenance Needs Expanding - $362 million – highway; $213 million transit

11% cost growth for new highway construction and transit operating

Minimal Revenue Growth

  • General Assembly appropriated additional $229 million GF for FRAN debt service

  • (FY 07-09)

Less funding to build additional capacity

Open to Counties and Cities and Towns under the Urban System

Max allocation of $1,000,000 per locality

Allocations provided via tiered approach
