  3. Ranking Overall the internship great. It was a perfect fit for me because I did not have any previous work experience in the sport industry, and they did a good job of easing me into things. I only gave it 4 ½ stars because I felt like they didn’t challenge me quite enough once I had gotten the basics down.

  5. Internship Objectives • Develop important event management skills for current and potential sponsors. • Better learn how to recruit new sponsors by making custom proposals. • Increase my understanding on how to retain current sponsors through promos, signage, etc.

  6. Daily Activities • No day was the same. • Working on my software database project. • Making deliveries and getting packages together to mail. • Miscellaneous tasks around the office like making copies, printing and cutting vouchers, and binding proposals for sponsors. • Leading tours and helping with promos on game days.

  7. Project • My project while I was with the ‘Riders was to help free up space on their server by moving pictures from their network to a photo sharing website. • I researched which photo site would be the best fit for us and I decided to go with Flickr. • I took around 10,000 photos off of our server and uploaded them to our Flickr account.
