The Details – How it works There are a number of conventional medical theories on how acupuncture work. Yes! Acupuncture has been scientifically proven to work. We know that by inserting needles into painful locations in the body, endorphin, your body’s natural morphine, is released. This explains how acupuncture is able to provide pain relief.

Chinese Medical theory sees it differently. Blockages in the Meridian energy channels is believed to be the cause of disease condition. These energy channels runs throughout all living bodies. So when acupuncture needles are correctly inserted into specific locations, the blockages are removed, the meridian energy channel becomes free-flowing again, and disease is eradicated. Slides 08
