  1. 1. Keep your face clean. Whether or not you've acne, it is important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead epidermis cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface. Washing more often than twice daily isn't necessarily better; it may do more damage than good. Use warm, not hot, water and a gentle facial cleanser. Employing a harsh soap (such as deodorant body soap) can hurt inflamed skin and cause additional irritation. Avoid scrubbing your skin harshly using a washcloth, an exfoliating glove, or loofah (a coarse-textured sponge). Gently wash it with a very soft cloth or your hands. Always rinse well, and then dry your face with a clean towel. (Toss the towel from the laundry hamper, as filthy towels spread bacteria.) Additionally, utilize the washcloth only once. 2. Moisturize. Most acne products include ingredients that dry the skin, so always use a moisturizer that minimizes dryness and skin peeling. Look for"noncomedogenic" on the label, which means it should not trigger acne. CONTINUE READING BELOW YOU MIGHT LIKE 3. Try an over-the-counter acne product. These acne products do not require a prescription. Most of them have ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or lactic acid, which curb bacteria and dry skin. They may cause angeletta skin cream drying or peeling so begin with a small amount initially. Then you can fix how much you use and how frequently. Another option is a new OTC topical retinoid gel (Differin 0.1% gel). It works to really prevent the acne from forming. Use these products with care if you've got sensitive skin. 4. Use makeup . During a breakout, avoid wearing foundation, powder, or even blush. If you do wear makeup, then wash it off at the end of the day. If at all possible, choose oil-free cosmetics without additional dyes and chemicals. Pick makeup that is labeled as"noncomedogenic," meaning it should not lead to acne. Read the ingredients listing on the product label before buying. 5. See what you put on your hair. Avoid using scents oils, pomades, or gels on your own hair. If they get on your own face, they could block your skin's pores and irritate skin. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Oily hair can increase the oil onto your face, so wash your own hair often, especially if you're busting out. Maintain it pulled away from the face. 6. Keep your hands off your head . Avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread germs, but you may also irritate the inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your palms, as it may lead to infection and scarring. 7. The sun's ultraviolet rays can increase inflammation and redness, and can cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark discoloration). Some acne medications can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Limit your time in sunlight, particularly between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and use protective garments, like a long-sleeved shirt, trousers, along with a broad-brimmed hat. Whether you have pimples or not, consistently employ a broad-spectrum sunscreen using 6 percent nitric oxide or higher and SPF 30 or greater at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Start looking for"noncomedogenic" about the sunscreen tag to make new pimples less likely. Read the ingredients on the product label to understand what you are putting on your skin. 8. Most specialists concur that specific foods, like chocolate, do not cause pimples. Still, it is logical to avoid fatty foods and junk food and include more fresh veggies, vegetables and whole grains to your diet. Steer clear of these. 9. Exercise daily. Routine exercise is good for your whole body, including your skin. If you work out, avoid wearing clothing or using exercise equipment that moisturizes your skin and may cause irritation. Shower or bathe shortly

  2. after exercise. 10. Chill! Some research link stress with the seriousness of pimples or acne. Ask yourself what is causing you to feel stressed. Then search for solutions. When in doubt, check with a dermatologist to see if you need more treatment to prevent or stop snoring.
