  3. The main parts of the water mill • Scaler • Brusher • Roller • Sieve • Crasher • Turbine • Engine

  4. Some information about the mill The water mill was built in 1902 AD. It produces five types of flour: - wheat flour - ”bread” flour - rye flour - lux flour - wheat husk - rye husk

  5. The mill engine The mill has two power sources: turbine (powered by nearby Radunia river) and electric engine (which power is 30 kW). These power sources fuel all the machines of the mill. Turbine is usually used to power the mill, except for the situations when it’s unable to do it… Then the electric engine stands for it.

  6. The mill’s location Mill of Zukowo is located on the st. Parkowa, building № 1. It’s near the Radunia river. You can see this in the picture beneath.

  7. About the employees There are only four people working ten hours a day required to keep the mill running. The mill supplies all the bakeries nearby with flour.

  8. About the river Radunia There are eight water power stations working on Radunia river: -Rutki 440kW -Lapino 2294kW -Bielkowo 7200kW -Straszyn 2450kW -Predzieszyn 872kW -Kuznice 785kW -Juszkowo 232kW -Pruszcz 100kW River’s length 103,2 km River’s basin 837 km²
