  2. Setting: • The setting of this story in in Paul’s small hometown. Most of the story takes place in Paul’s drama-filled , different school. This setting is important because it is where most of the main events happen. If the setting were different, the story would change by how and when people in the story interacted. Also, the plot would be different.

  3. Characters:

  4. Conflict: • Paul is walking down the hall in school and his ex(Kyle) asks him to talk. Paul agrees and goes to talk to Kyle. Kyle talks about how his aunt died and Paul tries comforting him. And when he is, he kisses him. He doesn’t mean to it just, happens. But, Noah finds out and this cause conflict between Paul and Noah. • Man v Self. ( He is confused out his feelings.)

  5. Summary Of Plot: • Paul meets a boy named Noah at a teen club and finds out they go to the same school and they meet. They fall for quickly. They go through some rough patches with ex and friends. But they get through it together and get over their conflicts.

  6. Theme:The theme is love can change your point of view on thingsand make things really confusing. • “I’m so angry at Joni right now words cant describe it.” Pg. 173 • “We stand there looking. His hand over mine. Our breathing.” pg.50 • “We do not need to speak to be aware of each other’s presence”pg.51

  7. Point Of View: • The point of view is in the main character Paul’s point of view. • It helps the reader understand the main events in the story and when they happen. • If the story was in a different point of view , then the reader might not experience the main events like they did with the story in this point of view.

  8. Symbolism: This picture symbolizes the two teenage boys that are in love. It’s two boys holding hands. It’s showing that no matter what people think ,say , or do to you, if you found someone that you love , and that loves you, you need to hold on to that person. Because not everybody has a special person like that and its amazing to find love like that.
